
I learned from class and from travel programs that Rome was one of the loveliest cities in the world. If there was one perfect travel destination, then that would be the Roman city. Yet I never really quite understood that until I myself had the rare chance of visiting some parts of Italy including Rome.
It was a marvelous and monumental place indeed. I strolled around the city taking a closer look at all the ruins such as the Coliseum, Roman Forums, a few pagan temples, and the very well preserved Pantheon. Then, I entered the Vatican including its museum and the Sistine chapel. The truth was that Rome itself was a monument of art, culture, history, and religion with all the many palaces, churches, fountains, paintings, and the ruins that adorn the city.
If you seek
art, culture, and spirituality, then Rome is a perfect travel destination for you. I can say that well since I saw and experienced it myself and I was very fortunate to have been there.
